Job description
About the Role
As Marketing Assistant, you'll provide hands-on support to the Head of Marketing and the Marketing & Member Engagement Manager as they drive Silvur Insurance awareness, lead generation, and client retention. You'll help keep campaigns organized and moving—building emails, coordinating assets, tracking performance data, and supporting communication with our credit union partners.
This is a great role for someone early in their marketing career who wants hands-on exposure to multi-channel campaign execution, partner marketing, and performance reporting in a fast-growing fintech environment.
Responsibilities
Campaign Support & Execution
Assist in building and scheduling campaign content across channels (email, SMS/app push, direct mail, social, web)
Help maintain the marketing calendar and keep campaigns on track across multiple credit union partners
Support QA of campaign assets, links, and tracking parameters (UTMs) before launch
Content Support
Assist with drafting and formatting campaign content, including email copy, social posts, and web content, under the guidance of the Manager
Help ensure all content follows Medicare compliance guidelines and brand voice
Coordinate asset delivery to credit union partners and track review/approval status
Reporting & Data Support
Pull and organize campaign performance data (e.g., open rates, CTR, conversions) into reporting templates
Help maintain dashboards and flag notable trends to the Manager and Head of Marketing
Support ad hoc data pulls and basic analysis requests
Partner & Team Coordination
Help coordinate communications and scheduling with credit union marketing contacts
Support webinar and event logistics (registration setup, reminders, follow-up materials)
Provide general administrative and organizational support to the marketing team
Requirements
You'll Thrive in This Role If You Have…
0-3 years of marketing experience (internships count!)
Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) to support real work—drafting and editing copy, summarizing data, researching, or speeding up day-to-day tasks. We want someone who's genuinely comfortable putting these tools to use, not just aware of them
Excellent attention to detail—you catch typos, broken links, and tracking errors before they go out the door
Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns, partners, and deadlines at once without dropping the ball
A calm, steady approach under pressure—you can prioritize and stay on top of things when things get busy or deadlines shift
Excellent written and verbal communication skills—you're comfortable coordinating with teammates and external partners
Strong general computer skills and comfort learning new software and platforms quickly
Clear, careful writing skills and comfort editing copy for tone and accuracy
Comfort working with spreadsheets and basic data (Excel/Google Sheets)
A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Canva, or similar marketing platforms is a plus
An interest in financial services, Medicare/insurance, or marketing to older adults is a plus
