Fundraising for the Jewish Community of Uganda

There is a vibrant Jewish community in the African country of Uganda. Over 3,000 Jews live committed Jewish lives with synagogues, schools and other community organizations, but they have serious needs. These Jews (known as the Abayudaya) need food, water, health care, educational supplies, and other necessities.

Our organization "Friends of the Abayudaya" is a non-profit organization based in New Jersey with close ties to the Abayudaya. Specifically, we raise money for the two main Jewish schools in Uganda: a primary school and a high school. We've made a big impact in the lives and education of these children (which helps their families and the entire community).

Now, we want to do more, and are seeking to hire a part-time fundraiser to help change the lives of more Jewish children in Uganda.
