Location: Queens / Five Towns / NYC / Lakewood, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | In-Office
Salary: $90K–$130K DOE

A growing accounting firm is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone with public accounting experience who wants a professional environment with reasonable hours, including during tax season.

Responsibilities
Prepare and review financial statements and accounting records.
Assist with tax preparation and related accounting work.
Perform audit and assurance-related work.
Prepare reconciliations, reports, and other accounting schedules.
Work directly with clients and assist with their accounting needs.
Manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
1–2+ years of experience in a public accounting firm required.
Audit or tax experience is a must.
Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CPA is not required.
