Job description
Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturer and distributor of chemical products in the Elizabeth region, is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join their team. You will handle the daily projects and upkeep of our customized Salesforce program which includes rate generation, client tracking, accounting, and more. This is a key role that will impact all areas of the business (sales, service, quoting, finance, etc.) and comes with upside. Key Responsibilities: Salesforce Management: Oversee the daily operations of the customized Salesforce system, ensuring it meets the needs of the business. Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain detailed and visually compelling dashboards to track key metrics for various departments, particularly sales and service teams. Service Team Support: Provide robust support to field service teams, ensuring the Salesforce system aids in their efficiency and effectiveness. Ticketing Systems: Manage and optimize the integration of ticketing systems with Salesforce, ensuring seamless operation and issue resolution. CRM & Sales Support: Ensure the Salesforce CRM effectively supports sales processes, including lead management, pipeline tracking, and performance analysis. Customization & Configuration: Customize and configure Salesforce applications, including developing custom objects, fields, and workflows to meet business requirements. User Training & Support: Conduct training sessions for Salesforce users, and provide ongoing support to ensure user proficiency and satisfaction. Data Management: Maintain data integrity within Salesforce by implementing best practices for data entry, data maintenance, and data hygiene. Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports to stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis. Apex Development (Preferred): Assist in the development of custom Apex code to enhance and automate business processes within Salesforce. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Salesforce Certification: Salesforce Administrator certification is required; additional Salesforce certifications are a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce customization and configuration, with a strong preference for candidates with knowledge of Apex. Dashboard Expertise: Proven experience in creating and managing dashboards that provide actionable insights. Support Experience: Experience supporting service teams in the field, with a focus on CRM and ticketing systems. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide strategic recommendations. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
