3rd/4th Hebrew School Teacher

3rd/4th Grade Hebrew School Teacher - Temple Har Zion (Oak Park/River Forest suburb of Chicago)

Schedule: Sundays 9:30-12, Wednesdays 4:30-6:30, September through May

Responsibilities:

- Provide supervision to students

- Communicate regularly with parents

- Lead classroom learning about Jewish holidays, Jewish values, Torah stories, Israel, and Jewish foods using our school curriculum

- Work with an assistant teacher, a Hebrew teacher, and teenage madrichim (assistants)

Qualifications:

- Enjoys being around kids

- Has experience or is willing to have intensive support throughout the year to make this successful

- Knowledge of Jewish holidays, Jewish values, Torah stories, Israel, and Jewish foods and/or is willing to learn.
