Myriad Genetics is seeking top-tier sales talent who are passionate about improving patients’ lives through precision medicine. As an Oncology Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our oncology business while supporting existing accounts in a high-impact territory. This is more than just a sales role—it’s an opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation in cancer diagnostics.

You’ll represent Myriad’s industry-leading oncology portfolio, including hereditary cancer testing, tumor profiling, and companion diagnostics, helping healthcare providers make more informed treatment decisions. At Myriad, our culture is defined by putting patients and people first—and we’re looking for someone who shares that commitment.

Note: This is a field-based sales position. Candidates must reside within the Territory and be able to travel locally on a daily basis to meet with healthcare providers and stakeholders. Regular in-person engagement is essential to the success of this role.

Responsibilities:

Drive utilization of Myriad’s oncology genetic testing solutions by increasing the number of samples submitted from assigned territory.
Dedicate approximately 85% of time engaging with oncology-focused physician offices (e.g., medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, gynecologic oncologists) and 15% supporting established cancer genetics programs.
Effectively implement and execute all approved sales and marketing strategies to promote Myriad’s oncology portfolio.
Promote all relevant oncology products during each customer interaction, ensuring comprehensive coverage across the territory.
Maintain a target cadence of 60 oncology providers within a two-week routing cycle.
Launch and support new product introductions and marketing initiatives as directed.
Develop and execute territory-specific action plans to drive sample volume growth and provider engagement.
Strategically allocate intervention resources, prioritizing high-impact providers aligned with growth objectives.
Adhere to expense budgets and complete all administrative requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
Operate independently with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism.
Demonstrate deep and evolving product and disease state knowledge, particularly in oncology and cancer genetics.
Travel daily within the territory to meet with providers and support clinical teams.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Sales Executive, with proven performance in a specialist or consultative sales role.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Genetics, Molecular Biology, or related field preferred.
At least 2 years of medical sales experience, ideally in oncology, diagnostics, or genetic testing.
Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Excellent communication skills – intelligent, articulate, and creative in approach.
Preferred background includes sales experience in oncology clinics, hospitals, women’s health, or clinical settings.
