Job description
The Subcontract Administrator supports the administration of major subcontracts and high-volume subcontracting activities that enable critical business operations and program success. This role is responsible for subcontract administration, supplier coordination, purchase order support, invoice resolution, vendor onboarding, and procurement documentation management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively with suppliers, Accounts Payable, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely subcontract administration. Key Responsibilities: * Support subcontract administration activities, including agreement setup, documentation management, and compliance tracking. * Support supplier onboarding, vendor setup, documentation collection, and vendor master maintenance. * Prepare and administer purchase orders, subcontract documents, and related procurement records in accordance with company policies and compliance requirements. * Resolve purchase order, receiving, invoicing, and subcontract-related discrepancies to support timely payment processing. * Maintain procurement and subcontract documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and audit readiness. * Coordinate with Accounts Payable, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to reconcile invoices and resolve payment issues. * Generate and distribute procurement, subcontract, and supplier performance reports as needed. * Monitor subcontract deliverables, documentation requirements, and contractual milestones. Required Qualifications: * 2-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, and supply chain support functions. * Experience supporting subcontract administration, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations. * Knowledge of subcontract agreements, service agreements, purchase order administration, invoicing, and supplier management. * Experience working within FAR/DFARS procurement and subcontracting requirements. * Strong organizational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functional teams. * Due to the nature of the role, ship is required Preferred Qualifications: * Experience administering government, defense, or commercial subcontracts. * Experience with vendor onboarding and vendor master maintenance. * Manufacturing, marine, industrial, or defense industry experience. * Knowledge of procurement systems, subcontract administration, and reporting tools. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $40.00-$48.00 per hour.
