Job description
Seeking a Program Quality Engineer (PQE) to support aerospace quality initiatives and customer-facing quality activities. This individual will serve as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, driving corrective actions, resolving quality concerns, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and program performance. Key Responsibilities * Responsible for coordination of customer quality interfacing, including customer reviews, audits, and senior-level presentations. * Facilitate Preventative and Corrective Actions concurrently with internal quality organizations, including Design, Operations, and Supply Chain. * Coordinate and manage customer issues in a timely and professional manner to achieve business unit goals. * Facilitate resolution of critical quality issues and situations, including Quality Clinic activities utilizing 8D methodology for product failures, to ensure timely turnaround. * Use customer and internal metrics to create, lead, and implement improvements that enhance customer satisfaction. * Clearly communicate improvement plans and progress to internal stakeholders and customers. * Attend internal escape board meetings and present corrective actions to leadership. * Coordinate and deliver failure analysis white papers and document findings within SAP/ETQ systems. * Collaborate with sites and cross-functional teams to develop and implement improvements using continuous improvement tools and methodologies. * Champion and execute quality initiatives, including Get to Green, Zero Defect Planning (ZDP), and PPAP implementation as required. Core Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering * Minimum of two years of experience in Quality Engineering or Operations. * Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems. * Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and data analysis. * Due to the nature of the work, ship is required Belcan provides a competitive pay and benefits package. Salary guidelines for similar roles at Belcan are $38.00-41.00 per hour.
