Membership Director at Samost Jewish Family and Children's Service of Southern New Jersey

The Katz JCC is a welcoming, vibrant community center and a hub for the greater Jewish community, offering learning opportunities for all ages, health and wellness programming, child enrichment, sports leagues, camps, after school and early childhood programs, arts and cultural events, and inclusion programming. The Membership Director will create and implement a visionary plan of belonging and connection to the JCC, backed by a robust business plan that ensures ongoing revenue growth. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement the JCC's approach to membership outreach, sales, and retention • Directly supervise the Associate Membership Director, Membership Operations Manager, Database Manager, and Guest Services Lead Associates • Oversee the membership budget and prepare the annual membership budget with the finance team • Build a commission-driven sales experience with clear goals, onboarding, and ongoing staff development • Use CRM data to analyze trends, report membership and marketing statistics to the executive team and board of directors, and shape strategy • Expand relationships with local businesses and organizations, and work with membership committees on policies, programs, and services Qualifications: • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration preferred, and/or 5+ years of experience in sales, customer engagement, and management • Experience creating and executing a prospect and member journey in a CRM (Salesforce, Daxko Operations, Efinesstri, Quattro, or similar) • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) • Excellent project management, customer service, organization, and time-management skills The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey and its family of agencies is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and participates in the E-Verify program.
