Preschool Program Manager at Oshman Family JCC

The Oshman Family Jewish Community Center (OFJCC) is an innovative non-profit organization in the heart of Silicon Valley. We create fun, meaningful, inclusive and joyful experiences through educational, social, cultural, spiritual, fitness and wellness programs. As the Preschool Program Manager, you will manage 4-5 (Ulpanon and Gesher) classrooms to ensure Preschool teachers are implementing the OFJCC Leslie Family Preschool vision, guiding principles and SHEVA Early Learning Framework through proper training and assistance with curriculum development. Year-round position. Salary: $75,000-80,000/year Responsibilities: • Supervise 4-5 classrooms including Ulpanon and Gesher • Lead and facilitate team meetings focused on curriculum planning, documentation and problem-solving • Supervise, coach, observe and evaluate teachers through regular classroom observations and ongoing feedback • Create, design and facilitate workshops and training opportunities focused on program goals and preschool best practices • Provide classroom coverage when necessary due to staffing and ratio requirements Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field required; Master's Degree preferred • 24 ECE/CD units, 16 general education units, 6 specialization units, and 2 adult supervision units • Minimum five years of preschool teaching experience, including curriculum leadership, mentoring or staff supervision • Demonstrated knowledge of Reggio Emilia-inspired education or play-based, emergent curriculum • Experience with Hebrew language immersion education preferred • Jewish studies background or knowledge of Jewish traditions, values, holidays and Israeli culture preferred • Cleared background check; Pediatric First Aid and CPR certified or willing to obtain Benefits: • Medical, dental, vision insurance • Paid holidays and paid time off • 403(b) retirement • Free membership at our award-winning fitness center
