Job description
The Claims Conference is looking for a Database Coordinator to join our Allocations team. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail oriented and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment. A strong sense of ownership will drive you to create greater efficacy within Fluxx, our grants management software, and provide end-to-end service to our global users. The Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, a nonprofit with offices in New York, Israel, Germany and Austria, secures material compensation for Holocaust survivors around the world. For 2025, the Claims Conference distributed approximately $530 million in compensation for survivors globally and $960 million for survivors' welfare needs such as home care, medicine and food. Note: this is a hybrid position with a minimum of two days in the office. Responsibilities: • Act as business administrator of Fluxx, coordinating the Department's requirements for upgrades and changes • Support Allocations staff with use of Fluxx • Act as Tier 1 Support for external user tickets submitted via email or helpdesk system • Coordinate with IT system admin on creating new and updating existing letters, emails, dashboards and ad-hoc reports • Analyze enhancement requests and determine priority • Create and update user manuals and webinars for Fluxx • Provide training to new staff and advanced training for existing staff Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree and at least one year of professional experience supporting technologies • Proficient in Word and Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, de-duplicating) • Stellar organizational skills with an eye to detail • Ability to communicate effectively to users with varying levels of technical knowledge Salary: $55,000-$60,000 (target range for the New York City market)
