HVAC Instructor

Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach HVAC/R courses. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.

Requirements

Completion of an HVAC/R program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
Certification:
EPA Universal
TX HVAC Certified Technician
HVAC Journeyman desired but not required
NATE Certification desired but not required
At least three years of experience as an HVAC/R Technician
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven
Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
