Senior Electrical Engineer

This role is suited for mid-level professionals (5+ years of experience), offering opportunities to work on cutting-edge defense technologies. Candidates should possess strong electrical engineering expertise, demonstrate resilience in challenging environments, and be ready to travel, including internationally and aboard naval vessels, to provide hands-on system support.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineering teams to design, analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot electrical components and systems for EMALS/AAG.
Assist with the development and review of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical specifications, and system documentation.
Conduct engineering investigations to identify and resolve system issues, including reviewing and performing repairs or providing technical recommendations for manufacturing components.
Perform system testing, validation, and evaluation to ensure compliance with performance, quality, and safety standards.
Provide technical recommendations to address electrical challenges and improve system reliability and operational safety.
Troubleshoot and develop procedures, including responding to shipboard emergency calls or supporting installations and testing outside normal working hours.
Prepare technical documentation and reports for stakeholders and engage in reviewing engineering change requests (e.g., REI/Waivers/Variances).
Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Travel as required (up to 5-30%, including internationally), onboard U.S. naval vessels and to remote sites to ensure system performance.
