Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Core Java development, distributed systems, and microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable, high-performance enterprise applications while collaborating with global teams in an Agile environment. This role requires hands-on experience with database technologies, messaging platforms, caching solutions, and Linux-based systems, along with a passion for delivering reliable and innovative software solutions.

Day to Day Job Duties:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance enterprise applications using Core Java and modern software engineering practices.
Develop scalable microservices and distributed systems to support business-critical applications.
Work with relational databases and optimize queries, data models, and database performance.
Design and implement integration solutions using messaging and middleware technologies such as Kafka and MQ.
Develop and maintain distributed caching solutions using Redis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
Support application deployment, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting in Linux-based environments.
Participate in code reviews, testing activities, and production support.
Contribute to Agile ceremonies, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with global teams to ensure successful delivery of software solutions.
Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 8+ years of experience in software development with strong proficiency in Core Java programming.
Experience working with functional programming languages and functional programming concepts.
Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and distributed system design principles.
Experience with distributed caching technologies, preferably Redis.
Strong experience working with relational databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, or Sybase IQ.
Experience with middleware and messaging platforms such as Kafka and MQ.
Hands-on experience working in Linux environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment.
