Job description
We are seeking a Fault Monitoring Architect and Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IBM Netcool Operations Insight AIOps, SevOne, and large-scale network fault monitoring and a proven ability to architect, deploy, and support high-availability monitoring platforms with automation and governance compliance.
Responsibilities:
Manage Unix OS and hardware across multiple operating systems, including production changes with appropriate stakeholder coordination.
Research, design, build, test, and maintain network fault monitoring systems and self-healing automation.
Develop test plans, execute tests, and document results in network tools and engineering repositories.
Gather and refine requirements with users and stakeholders and deliver working solutions.
Certify new product models and versions, ensuring governance approvals and audit readiness for network toolsets.
Partner with vendors to enhance tools to meet customer and security requirements; refresh or upgrade tools at EOL/EOS or not-permitted status.
Develop integrations across network tools and third-party systems, including APIs, probes, gateways, and data pipelines.
Lead disaster recovery exercises and provide break-fix support for network monitoring platforms.
