Software Engineer III

Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot
* Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes
* Develop and enhance search functionality using Elasticsearch and related technologies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
* Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security
* Design and maintain data pipelines that support analytics and reporting applications
* Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack
* Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement initiatives
* Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* 5+ years of professional software development experience
* 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java (11+) and Spring Boot 3+
* Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices
* Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or MySQL
* Experience with NoSQL technologies including MongoDB and Elasticsearch
* Experience designing and implementing ETL/data processing pipelines handling large datasets
* Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Postman, or SOAP UI
* Proficiency with Git and build tools such as Gradle or Maven
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Experience working in Agile development environments
