Principal Software Engineer- Private Equity

1. Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex software solutions.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
3. Drive the adoption of best practices in software engineering, including agile methodologies, code reviews, and automated testing.
4. Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
5. Act as a technical authority, making key decisions that shape the architecture and design of our software solutions.
6. Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
7. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in software engineering, bringing innovative ideas to the table.
8. Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of software projects.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, ensuring the highest level of system performance and reliability.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on designing and developing complex software solutions.
3. Strong Angular & C# experience (at least 5 years w/ each)
4. Expertise in cloud computing platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
5. Financial services industry experience, specifically private equity, hedge fund, or similar.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
8. A passion for technology and a drive to stay abreast of emerging trends in software engineering.
