Job description

Develop end-to-end solution designs for infrastructure initiatives spanning virtualization, networking, and both private and public cloud platforms.

Partner with business leaders, IT teams, and enterprise architects to ensure proposed solutions support organizational goals and long-range technology plans.

Apply enterprise architecture principles, security expectations, compliance obligations, and operational best practices throughout the solution design process.

Present architecture deliverables to review boards and stakeholder groups, incorporating feedback to strengthen technical alignment and implementation readiness.

Help establish and improve IT processes that enhance architecture practices, governance, and cross-functional delivery standards.

Maintain accurate architectural documentation within enterprise modeling tools so solution components, workflows, and dependencies are clearly represented.

Assess technology options and vendor offerings to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and improved service delivery.

Coordinate with external partners and suppliers to support delivery timelines, technical requirements, and solution outcomes.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience designing infrastructure solutions across VMware, networking, and cloud-based environments.
Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture governance, security standards, and regulatory considerations within IT organizations.
Proven ability to work with business stakeholders, technical teams, and review boards to drive agreement on solution direction.
Background in IT project leadership with familiarity in Agile Scrum delivery methods.
Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira.
PMP certification or comparable project management credential is preferred.
Strong analytical, communication, and vendor management skills with the ability to balance technical quality, cost, and timelines.
