IT Security Specialist III

Manage the design, software certifications, and process automation for various database security areas.
Engineer solutions for collecting database entitlements and logins across the entire database population.
Develop and implement test cases to ensure security compliance.
Address and manage dormancy, revocations, and access drifts in database access.
Work within a scrum framework, utilizing agile practices and tools like Jira and Horizon.
Collaborate with team members while also working independently on assigned tasks.
Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with Python, Unix/KSH shell scripting, and PowerShell.
Hands-on experience with Oracle, MSSQL, or other RDBMS.
Experience with product certifications and process automation.
Familiarity with JIRA and Horizon.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with emerging databases such as CockroachDB, Cassandra, and Postgres.
Experience with cloud-based databases (AWS or Azure).
Experience with GitHub Copilot.
Knowledge of Prompt Engineering.
