Job Overview:
The Used Merchandise Evaluator performs necessary steps to fulfill the customer’s orders in accordance with the company’s used merchandise resale policies. Depending on the conditioning assigned to the item, the item is forwarded to used inventory/stock to be resold or sent to the repairs team

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsible for evaluation, testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment, components and parts
Examine and evaluate store transferred items received by the department following the Standard Operating Procedures
Modify item description to ensure an accurate detailed description on all platforms and inventory database
Identify products that are missing parts or needing repair
Re-box items that come in damaged boxes and assign them to be reweighed
Develop and improve in house testing process while maintaining and exceeding department goals
Collaborate with multiple teams within Reverse Logistics Operations including Return to Vendor and Used Inventory Stock

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
·        Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to multi-task
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well in a team as well as independently
Strong attention to detail and results driven

Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Retail environment
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience troubleshooting photo/video items, computers and other electronics is preferred but not required
Previous technical training experiences a plus.

Physical Environment/Occupational Risks:

Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and up to 80lbs with assistance.
Extended periods of sitting/standing/walking
