Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale construction projects from pre-construction through final completion. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ownership groups, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive experience managing complex construction projects, budgets, schedules, and field operations. This role requires someone who can proactively identify risks, solve problems, manage client expectations, and drive project profitability while maintaining exceptional relationships with all stakeholders. Responsibilities: Serve as the primary liaison between clients, owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates regarding project schedules, milestones, budgets, change orders, risks, and construction progress. Review project plans, specifications, engineering drawings, contracts, and construction documents prior to project execution. Identify constructability issues, design conflicts, scope gaps, and potential project risks, developing solutions before they impact schedules or budgets. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, manpower allocations, and construction timelines. Coordinate all project stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and deadlines. Manage subcontractor selection, scheduling, performance, and accountability throughout construction. Monitor project costs, forecasts, commitments, and change orders to ensure profitability and financial performance. Track actual costs against budget and proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies. Lead project meetings, owner meetings, subcontractor meetings, and internal planning sessions. Oversee quality control measures, inspections, punch list completion, and project closeout activities. Ensure all work complies with project specifications, construction standards, building codes, and company expectations. Enforce OSHA regulations, jobsite safety programs, and company safety policies. Ensure accurate project documentation, including permits, RFIs, submittals, change orders, as-built drawings, warranties, and closeout packages. Lead, mentor, and develop Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field personnel. Address project challenges, unforeseen site conditions, scheduling conflicts, and client concerns with a solutions-oriented mindset. Participate in weekly project reviews and executive meetings, providing updates on progress, resource requirements, and upcoming project needs. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project execution, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability. Requirements: 5+ years of construction project management experience. Proven track record managing large-scale commercial, multifamily, hospitality, industrial, healthcare, luxury residential, or mixed-use construction projects. Extensive experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships. Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, building systems, construction sequencing, and project controls. Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, engineering drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules. Strong understanding of permitting, inspections, municipal approvals, building codes, and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and change order management. Commitment to jobsite safety and quality assurance. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Experience leading high-performing project teams in fast-paced construction environments.
