Software and AI Product Owner

Analyze the current custom billing system end to end, document how it works, and identify defects, gaps, and bottlenecks.
Troubleshoot issues reported by billing, AR, and operations, determine root cause, and drive them to resolution.
Own the product roadmap: decide what gets built, in what order, and why.
Define and add new features and customizations based on requirements gathered from the business teams.
Design and implement AI and automation capabilities such as document intake and OCR, LLM assisted review, denial prediction, auto routing, exception handling, and automated reporting.
Lead a multi area upgrade of the current platform covering performance, data integrity, reporting, user experience, and integrations.
Hire developers to build out the team, then train, mentor, and oversee them, including any outsourced or offshore resources.
Set development standards, sprint priorities, timelines, code review expectations, and release process.
Run testing, UAT, rollout, user training, and documentation.
Measure results after launch (time saved, error rates, days in AR, collection rates) and iterate.
Stay proactive: bring ownership new technology and new ideas instead of waiting for requests.
