Human Resources Generalist
Location: White Plains, NY Area — Remote with 1 day per week in office
Salary: $100,000–$120,000 DOE

Position Overview
A growing multispecialty medical and surgical practice is seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role will support the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR administration.
The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Coordinate new employee orientation and ensure employees understand company policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Administer employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and other benefit programs.
- Manage employee records and HR information through the company’s HRIS and other HR systems.
- Support payroll processing and ensure employee information is accurate and up to date.
- Handle employee relations matters, including workplace concerns, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and policy enforcement.
- Coordinate performance reviews, employee evaluations, and performance improvement processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, workers’ compensation, and other HR requirements.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and related documentation.
- Assist management with staffing, workforce planning, and employee development initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports and analyze employee data using Excel and HRIS systems.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information.
- Assist with additional HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on HR Generalist or HR management experience.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, HR compliance, and employment practices.
- Experience managing recruitment and onboarding processes from start to finish.
- Experience with HRIS systems; ATS experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of FMLA, workers’ compensation, and applicable employment laws.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Healthcare or medical-practice HR experience is a plus.
