Daytime Position at Manhattan Kosher Restaurant

Front-of-House Position – Upper West Side

Kasbah Grill is looking for a reliable, energetic Shomer Shabbos individual for a daytime position, Sunday through Thursday, approximately 11 AM–5 PM, with some flexibility.

Responsibilities include:

* Serving as daytime mashgiach

* Answering phones and assisting customers

* Handling a small number of lunch tables when needed

* Keeping an eye on front-of-house operations and making sure things are running smoothly

* Social media posting and helping promote the restaurant

* Reaching out to local businesses, organizations and other potential catering clients

* Following up on catering leads and helping generate new business

Restaurant experience is a plus but not required. More important is someone who learns quickly, takes initiative, communicates well, and is comfortable finding productive things to work on during slower periods.

Pay: $25/hour to start + commission on catering business generated.
