About the Role
This is a product development role in the high-powered gardening and outdoor equipment space — think serious machinery, not the lawn mower category. You'll own product development end to end, working directly with manufacturers overseas to bring new private label products to life. It's a role for someone dynamic and energetic who can negotiate hard, stay on the ball, and push things forward without waiting to be told.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development
- Develop private label products in the high-powered gardening and outdoor equipment category
- Take products from concept through to production
Manufacturer Relations
- Work directly with manufacturers in China and overseas
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and specifications
Project Execution
- Keep development on track with energy and urgency
- Proactively push projects forward and stay on top of every detail
Qualifications
- Product development experience, ideally with private label goods
- Experience working with overseas manufacturers, particularly in China
- Strong negotiation skills
- Dynamic, energetic, and persistent — comfortable driving projects on your own
