Crisis Manager

A nonprofit medical referral organization is seeking a highly resourceful and energetic Crisis Manager to help individuals and families navigate urgent and complex medical situations. The role requires strong knowledge of the medical field, including common medical conditions, treatments, healthcare systems, and terminology, along with the ability to quickly assess situations and find creative, practical solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage urgent and complex medical cases from initial intake through resolution
• Research medical conditions, specialists, facilities, and treatment options to identify appropriate resources
• Coordinate with patients, families, doctors, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals
• Think creatively and proactively to solve problems and overcome obstacles in time-sensitive situations

Skills:

• Strong understanding of medical terminology, conditions, and healthcare systems
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Highly energetic, resourceful, and creative approach to challenging situations
• Strong communication, organization, and ability to remain calm under pressure

Requirements:

• Previous experience in healthcare, medicine, medical administration, or a related field
