Position Overview

A growing home care agency is seeking a Director of Patient Services (DPS) to lead its clinical department.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced DPS or an RN who has worked directly under a DPS in home care and is ready to take the next step.

If you've been the right hand to a DPS and have been involved in DOH audits, compliance, and the day-to-day management of a home care clinical department, this is your opportunity to become a DPS.

The person hired will take full ownership of the department and be empowered to make decisions independently.

Qualifications

Active New York RN license required
Several years of home care experience required
Current or previous DPS experience preferred
Candidates who have worked directly under a DPS and have hands-on experience with DOH audits, compliance, and clinical operations are encouraged to apply
Ability to lead a clinical department independently and make sound decisions
Responsibilities

Lead the clinical department and oversee daily operations
Ensure compliance with home care regulations and successfully manage DOH audits
Review clinical documentation and oversee quality of patient care
Supervise and support the nursing team
Work from the office, with occasional field visits during the onboarding period
