Job description

Operations Project Manager

Brooklyn, NY
$100,000 – $120,000 + profit sharing opportunities

Overview

A fast-growing organization is seeking an Operations Project Manager to work directly alongside senior leadership and help turn ideas into execution.

This is not a traditional project management role where you'll simply track tasks and send follow-up emails. It's an opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, building systems, improving processes, and taking ownership of meaningful projects from start to finish.

The right candidate will become a true operational partner to leadership—helping move initiatives forward, creating structure where it doesn't exist, and ensuring priorities are executed efficiently. As trust is built, this person will take on increasing ownership and become an integral part of the organization's long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

Partner directly with senior leadership to execute strategic and operational initiatives
Take ownership of projects from planning through implementation and completion
Build systems, workflows, SOPs, and documentation to improve operational efficiency
Coordinate projects across departments and ensure priorities move forward
Identify operational gaps and develop practical solutions
Track progress, remove roadblocks, and drive accountability across teams
Analyze information, organize complex data, and present actionable recommendations
Improve internal processes and continuously look for opportunities to increase efficiency
Communicate with stakeholders, follow through on action items, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Take on increasing responsibility and ownership as the organization continues to grow
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and naturally takes ownership. This person enjoys figuring things out, building structure, and turning ideas into action.

This person should have:

Experience managing projects, operations, or process improvement initiatives
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to create structure in fast-moving environments
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence to ask questions, offer ideas, and respectfully challenge assumptions when appropriate
Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail
Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and the ability to organize and analyze information
A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
Previous experience may come from operations, project management, consulting, business analysis, process improvement, or other roles focused on execution and organizational effectiveness. The organization is more interested in intelligence, ownership, and potential than a specific industry background.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who wants more than a traditional operations role. You'll work closely with senior leadership, help shape how the organization operates, and build a long-term career with significant growth potential.
