Position Overview

A growing healthcare organization is seeking a highly organized and proactive Practice Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the practice. This individual will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations across scheduling, patient services, provider support, staff management, insurance workflows, and office administration.

The ideal candidate has strong healthcare operations experience, leadership capabilities, and the ability to keep multiple departments running efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

2+ years of operations, practice management, or office management experience
Experience managing administrative and support staff
Strong understanding of scheduling, patient services, and office operations
Knowledge of insurance verification, authorizations, and healthcare administrative processes
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong leadership and team development abilities

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice and ensure efficient workflow across departments
Manage administrative staff, scheduling teams, and operational support functions
Ensure appropriate staffing coverage and address operational challenges as they arise
Oversee patient scheduling, provider utilization, and overall patient experience
Monitor scheduling efficiency, cancellations, waitlists, and service availability
Support provider onboarding, scheduling coordination, and operational needs
Oversee insurance verification, authorizations, and related administrative processes
Ensure compliance with company policies, documentation standards, and operational procedures
Coordinate staff training, onboarding, and professional development initiatives
Manage office operations, supplies, facilities, and vendor relationships
Address patient concerns and assist in resolving operational issues
Partner with leadership to improve processes, drive efficiency, and support organizational growth
