What you will do You will teach two Hebrew/Judaics classes every day. There is some flexibility based on skill level and interest as to which classes those would be. In addition, you will: Partner with families in regular communication Nurture a joyful sense of Jewish identity within each student Teach about Jewish holidays at appropriate times of year Commit to implementing our social/emotional curriculum as well as our strong academic program Qualifications Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about contributing to school-wide initiatives including social justice, our on-site working farm, and creative arts. In addition, you Speak Hebrew Fluently Hold a Bachelor’s degree Have strong Judaic content knowledge Have experience teaching elementary grade students Work well as part of a team
