About the Role
As a Robot Teleoperation Operator, you will use specialized controls to guide robotic systems through structured physical tasks. Depending on the system, you may operate robots using motion-tracking equipment, wearable controls, handheld controllers, or computer-based interfaces.

This is a hands-on, metrics-informed role where safety, precision, consistency, and data quality matter. Much of the work involves repeating tasks while carefully following instructions and introducing specified variations.

Previous robotics experience is helpful but not required. We provide paid training and certification on our equipment, systems, and safety procedures.

What You’ll Do
Teleoperate robotic arms and other robotic systems using provided control interfaces.

Perform structured tasks such as picking, placing, sorting, packing, organizing, tool use, and simple assembly.

Repeat demonstrations consistently while introducing requested variations in objects, positions, environments, or task sequences.

Follow documented task instructions, calibration procedures, safety rules, and data-collection protocols.

Review recorded demonstrations and identify successful, failed, or invalid attempts.

Label task outcomes and enter clear, accurate operator notes.

Maintain high standards for data quality and consistency throughout each shift.

Meet established targets for approved data volume and quality without compromising safety.

Set up, inspect, calibrate, reset, and shut down operator equipment using documented procedures.

Identify unusual robot behavior, equipment problems, software issues, or unsafe conditions and escalate them promptly.

Test new tasks, workflows, hardware, and software and provide actionable feedback.

Keep stations, equipment, task objects, and shared work areas organized.

Participate in paid training, safety briefings, coaching sessions, and process-improvement activities.

Helpful Experience
No specific degree is required. Relevant experience may include:

Manufacturing, assembly, laboratory, fulfillment, production, or quality-control work.

Robotics, automation, electronics, or hardware testing.

Gaming, simulation, VR/AR, motion capture, or controller-based applications.

Crafts, music, athletics, culinary work, technical theater, or other activities requiring precise coordinated movement.

Data annotation, AI training operations, or structured video review.

Basic hardware or software troubleshooting.

What Success Looks Like
During your first month, you will be expected to:

Complete required safety and equipment certifications.

Independently set up and shut down an assigned operator station.

Produce demonstrations that consistently meet acceptance standards.

Accurately identify and document unsuccessful or invalid attempts.

Meet ramp-stage quality and throughput expectations.

Follow all safety procedures, including stop-work and escalation requirements.

Communicate equipment and workflow problems clearly enough for another team member to reproduce them.

Work Environment
Work is performed on-site around robotic and electronic equipment.

Sessions may involve sitting or standing at an operator station for extended periods.

Tasks may require repeated hand, arm, or body movements, depending on the control system.

Operators may rotate between teleoperation, session review, annotation, equipment reset, and task preparation.

Required safety equipment and training will be provided.

Schedule and Compensation
This is an hourly, overtime-eligible position.

Compensation is $30 per hour, based on relevant experience and demonstrated skills.

All required onboarding, training, equipment setup, meetings, and session-review time is paid.

Available shifts: 2pm - 10pm ET

Expected commitment: Five days a week. Monday - Friday

The initial assignment is expected to last 12 weeks and may be extended based on business needs and performance.
