The Role
The Advisor Consultant role is designed for early career professionals eager to launch a dynamic and rewarding career in financial services. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a strong foundation in client relationship management, consultative sales, and practice management

through a comprehensive and immersive training program. You’ll begin your journey with in-depth training that includes investment markets, product knowledge, presentation skills, and preparation for the Series 7, 66, and SIE licenses. Once onboarded, you’ll join our Advisor Consultant desk, where you’ll play a key role in supporting business growth and deepening client relationships within a designated region.

As an Advisor Consultant, you will:

Proactively engage with Financial Advisors to strengthen relationships, identify cross-selling opportunities, and cultivate new business.
Represent Lord Abbett with professionalism and expertise, serving as a trusted resource for our clients.
Receive regular performance feedback and coaching to support your development and success.

This role serves as the primary talent pipeline for future Regional Manager positions across the West, Midwest, South, Southeast, and Northeast regions. Upon promotion, Regional Managers transition into their assigned territories, continuing to build on the relationships and business opportunities they helped develop.

We’ll trust you to:
Exhibit strong knowledge of mutual funds, separately managed accounts (SMAs), and retirement solutions
Analyze and interpret current market trends to assess their implications on investment strategies
Initiate proactive outreach to financial advisors, delivering timely sales ideas and value-added business insights
Collaborate closely with Regional Managers to drive growth and manage relationships within an assigned territory
Coordinate with the Marketing team to execute strategic outbound calling campaigns that support business objectives

You'll need to have:
0-3 years relevant experience in the financial services industry
Ability to obtain the Series 7, 66, and SIE licenses within the designated time frame
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
The aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
Real ambition to pursue a client-facing career, with a strong interest in relationship management and sales
Ability to develop client relationships and strategic partnerships
Program start date: July 2027

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $95,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive a performance-based bonus. Bonus eligibility and amounts are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
