The Role
The Investment Associate Internship Program is a great opportunity for those seeking to kick-start a career as an investment professional. We view our summer interns as valuable members of our investment teams with opportunities to return as full-time Investment Associates upon graduation. During the nine-week program, interns will experience two rotations within our investment teams: Taxable Fixed Income, Tax-Free Fixed Income, Equities, or Private Investments. Throughout the internship, you will build skills across Portfolio Construction, Data & Analytics, Investment Research, and Trading, while also exploring how Macroeconomic factors influence the markets, all guided by Lord Abbett investment professionals. Interns should expect social interactions with peers as well as networking with senior investment professionals across the organization.

We’ll trust you to:
Create and maintain financial models, valuation analysis, and written reports on companies, industry trends, and investment recommendations
Support our experienced investment professionals in generating alpha for our clients through providing support for portfolio management decisions, portfolio construction understanding, undertaking research or navigating a complex and digital active trading environment
Prepare reports, opinions, recommendations, and presentations for use in the formulation of investment recommendations
Leverage digital tools to innovate, streamline and partner with digital and data teams to generate sustainable and unique investment insights
Participate in formal and informal training designed to expand your knowledge as an investment professional
Perform in-depth company research by sector or specific to an asset class
Build and maintain strong relationships across the broader investment team
You'll need to have:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree with eligibility for full-time employment in Summer 2028
Outstanding academic background and excellent attention to detail
Passion for investing
Superior analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
Resourcefulness, team-orientation, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $100,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
