Requirements
- Fundamental understanding of e-commerce operations, including Amazon FBA.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and determine what requires immediate attention.
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence working with vendors and factories.
- Comfortable working with inventory data, forecasts, costs, and Google Sheets.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with excellent follow-through.
- Relevant procurement, logistics, inventory, or supply chain experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee procurement, inventory forecasting, logistics, quality control, and backup sourcing.
- Manage purchasing and ongoing negotiations with more than 100 vendors and overseas factories.
- Monitor inventory needs across Amazon, Walmart, and other e-commerce channels.
- Oversee purchase orders, factory scheduling, production timelines, and quality-control approvals.
- Coordinate international shipments and the consolidation of multiple purchase orders into containers.
- Ensure shipments are received and properly accounted for by the warehouse.
- Coordinate domestic fill-in purchasing when overseas inventory is delayed or unavailable.
- Ensure freight, duty, and related expenses are accurately reflected in product costs.
- Improve systems, SOPs, and accountability across procurement and logistics operations.
- Identify and resolve inventory, pricing, quality, production, and shipping issues.
