Inventory Control Specialist

Location: New Jersey
Schedule: Full-Time, In-Office
Salary: $75,000

Growing health food company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory accuracy, product availability, manufacturers, and day-to-day coordination with the warehouse team.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels and ensure products are properly stocked.
• Coordinate with manufacturers regarding orders, production, and availability.
• Monitor inventory to prevent shortages, overstock, short-dated, or expired products.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory and company systems.
• Analyze inventory and operational reports and take action based on findings.
• Coordinate with trucking and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Identify and prioritize urgent issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Work closely with manufacturers and the warehouse team to ensure seamless inventory management.
• Continuously monitor processes and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control, supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with systems, reports, and inventory data.
• Strong follow-up and communication skills.
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership.
