Job description
Responsibilities:
Leads the development, and continuous improvement of Senior Planet educational programs.
Develops annual education plans, content priorities, and resource allocations aligned with organizational goals, audience needs, and funding requirements.
Maintains variety and relevance of content by staying abreast of tech trends, including emerging and mainstream consumer-level devices and applications.
Oversees the full curriculum lifecycle, including needs assessment, instructional design, content development, implementation, evaluation, and updates.
Identifies opportunities to scale educational reach through new formats, technologies, and digital platforms.
Collaborates with subject matter experts, internal stakeholders, and external partners to develop accurate, relevant, and high-quality educational programs for older adults.
Leverages participant feedback, research, and learning analytics to identify opportunities for innovation, content expansion, and enhanced learner engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of professional experience, preferably within a non-profit setting
Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
Prior experience teaching adults and /or older adults is essential , with a solid understanding of adult learning theory
Superior communication skills and the ability to plan, delegate, and supervise high-profile projects
Excellent research skills with the ability to create clear and concise presentations and learner materials
Proficient in InDesign
Preferred:
Master's Degree
