Job description
What You Will Own
Rogo's Advisory function is a team of former investment professionals who guide top financial institutions on how to apply AI in their day-to-day workflows and long-term strategy. You'll lead client engagements from pre-sale through up-sell, building consultative relationships and tailoring demos that resonate with portfolio managers, research analysts, and investment teams at large asset managers. Similar to how Solutions Architects secure the "technical win," you'll drive the "investment win" by translating Rogo's capabilities into real impact across fundamental research, portfolio construction, and idea generation workflows.
Engage with portfolio managers/research analysts at existing and prospective customers to understand and address their workflow challenges, and then explain and demonstrate the value of Rogo's AI solutions to address them.
Establish yourself as a credible expert in solving customers' specific problems (e.g., equity/credit research, company and sector diligence, earnings and filings analysis, idea generation workflows).
Lead product demonstrations tailored to the context of various asset management firms, asking questions to validate how Rogo can add value and then showcasing Rogo's features and benefits relevant to each prospective client's potential use cases.
Partner with the marketing team to develop content that will resonate with portfolio managers/analysts, tailored to the unique needs of their asset class, strategy, and coverage universe.
Act as the "Voice of the Customer," using your industry perspective to help the broader sales team develop and implement more effective strategies and synthesize customer feedback for the product team through an asset management lens.
Tailor the introduction of new solutions to specific customer needs.
Further the market perception of Rogo as uniquely credible, substantive, and helpful in applying its AI solutions to make investment professionals better at their jobs.
Conduct research and analysis on customers and competitors.
What You Will Need
2+ years of front-office experience at a large asset manager as a research analyst, associate, or in a related investment role.
Executive engagement skills and presence, with an ability to establish strong relationships with key decision-makers and build credibility at all levels.
Outstanding presentation skills, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
Curiosity about AI's potential to transform financial services.
Sales or client-facing experience, including business development and/or experience directly managing institutional client matters and relationships.
Who You Are
You thrive in fast-paced environments. You are high-intensity and care a lot about what you do, and you're ecstatic to work at a startup.
You are ambitious. You have fun solving problems that others think are impossible.
You are curious. You find joy in learning about AI, technology, and finance.
You are an owner. You are autonomous, self-directed, and comfortable working with ambiguity.
You are collaborative, organized, thoughtful, and kind.
