Talent Acquisition & Recruiting Specialist

Position Overview

A growing packaging and industrial solutions company is seeking a full-time Recruiter to support talent acquisition efforts across the organization. This individual will be responsible for screening applicants, conducting phone interviews, coordinating hiring activities, and helping ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

The ideal candidate has prior recruiting or HR experience, strong communication skills, and enjoys building relationships with candidates and hiring managers. This role will also assist with various HR administrative and generalist functions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Review and screen incoming applications
• Conduct phone interviews and evaluate candidate qualifications
• Schedule and coordinate in-person interviews with hiring managers
• Maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and recruiting platforms
• Track candidate activity and maintain accurate records within recruiting systems
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements
• Assist with interview feedback collection and hiring decisions
• Support onboarding and pre-employment processes for new hires
• Assist with HR-related projects and generalist tasks as needed
• Help ensure a positive candidate and employee experience

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR experience preferred
• Experience screening candidates and conducting phone interviews
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems (ATS) preferred
• Professional, resourceful, and self-motivated
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment
• Bachelor's degree

Compensation & Benefits

• $70,000-$80,000 annual salary
