Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for leading electrical construction projects from initiation through completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients while overseeing all project phases, including planning, execution, financial management, and closeout. Working closely with the Branch Manager, the Project Manager evaluates project risks, manages changes, and ensures all deliverables meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead full lifecycle management of assigned projects, including scope, budget, schedule, and overall execution
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction
Build and sustain client partnerships to support repeat business and long-term growth
Review and understand project plans, specifications, and contractual requirements
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure high-quality workmanship across all phases
Support contract review and ensure compliance with project terms
Identify and manage scope changes; document and process change orders effectively
Prepare and submit payment applications, submittals, change requests, and closeout documentation in a timely manner
Partner with purchasing to negotiate vendor and subcontractor agreements
Attend project meetings and communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders
Maintain accurate project financials and update project status in ERP systems
Ensure deadlines, deliverables, and communication standards are consistently met

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
5-8+ years of project management experience within construction or electrical contracting
Strong understanding of commercial construction projects and processes
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships
Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
Proficiency in project management and ERP software
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
