Job description

We are seeking an experienced Azure & Google Cloud Engineer (Contractor) to support cloud infrastructure, application modernization, data integration, and platform operations across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining cloud-native solutions while ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support cloud solutions in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM/Bicep.

Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.

Configure and support cloud networking, security, identity management, and access controls.

Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance and costs.

Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.

Support cloud migration initiatives from on-premises environments to Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

Work closely with application development, data engineering, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams.

Ensure compliance with organizational security, governance, and operational standards.

Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

7+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud infrastructure management.

Strong hands-on experience with:

Microsoft Azure (App Services, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, Functions, Key Vault, Networking)

Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, GKE, IAM)

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep).

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

Strong understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, VPNs, identity and access management.

Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
