Job description
10+ years of recent experience in Data Architecture/Data Engineering with enterprise-scale, regulated environments.
Hands-on expertise in Snowflake & PostgreSQL administration, architecture, schema design, migration, performance/query tuning and distributed databases.
Architect and deploy large-scale database clusters/hybrid cloud ecosystems across AWS & Azure, including multi-region HA/DR, backup, security and compliance.
Strong Python/Ansible scripting and automation for database provisioning, monitoring, scaling and infrastructure modernization.
Architect structured & unstructured data ingestion, processing, context/data engineering, lifecycle management and enterprise data warehouse modeling/reporting.
Strong knowledge of Snowflake design patterns, cloud-native/serverless architectures and migration workflows.
Expertise with Snowflake, Databricks, Talend, Spark, Power BI & Microsoft Fabric across modern data ecosystems.
Experience with Snowflake Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, AI SQL, Snowflake ML & Snowpark Container Services for ML/Generative AI solutions.
Strong understanding of RAG, vector search (Azure AI Search) and AI/ML application architectures.
Establish data governance, quality/validation standards, architectural principles, technology standards, security, integrity and reliability.
Enable seamless integration with Data Analytics, BI Reporting, AI-agent workflows, transactional processing and enterprise applications.
Lead modernization and architectural innovation, including next-generation data platforms, knowledge graphs and advanced data fabrics.
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills; able to influence senior/executive stakeholders and mentor engineers.
Bachelor s degree required; Master s in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline preferred; experience in Agile SDLC required.
