Fidessa Developer

This role is for an experienced Fidessa developer in an Equities Cash Technology organization. The group supports institutional and retail equities trading desks and is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting multiple production trading applications built on the Fidessa trading platform. A successful candidate will have prior hands-on Fidessa implementation experience, in-depth knowledge of the Fidessa architecture, and a proven track record of performing product upgrades with complex onsite customizations.

Key Responsibilities
Support multiple Fidessa trading systems.
Integrate Fidessa systems into the organization's technology stack.
Upgrade product components on a regular basis to keep up with the latest updates.
Work with BAs/PMs and other developers to satisfy business and regulatory requirements.
Onboard the systems to DevOps CI/CD tools.
Required Qualifications

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of Fidessa server-side development experience is required. This includes front office development experience and an understanding of equities trading workflows and general equities market knowledge.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with the Fidessa Product Suite (CASE, FBL, TOP, PAIRS, NMS, FIX+, APAS, FDA), FIX protocol, TCL, and Unix shell scripting is necessary. Experience with Linux and Windows 10 platforms and Agile SDLC is also required. Candidates must possess analytical, design, and system integration skills.

Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required.

Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of core Java development experience.
Hands-on FDA and Sybase experience.
FTW development experience is a strong plus.
