Fidessa Developer

This role is for an experienced Fidessa developer within a financial services technology organization. The team supports institutional and retail equities trading desks by developing, enhancing, and maintaining multiple production trading applications built on the Fidessa platform. A successful candidate must have hands-on Fidessa implementation experience, in-depth knowledge of Fidessa architecture and products, and a proven history of performing product upgrades with complex onsite customizations.

Key Responsibilities
Support multiple Fidessa trading systems.
Integrate Fidessa systems into the organization's technology stack.
Upgrade product components on a regular basis to keep up with the latest updates.
Work with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to satisfy business and regulatory requirements.
Onboard the systems to DevOps CI/CD tools.
Required Qualifications

Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline is required.

Experience: This position requires 3+ years of Fidessa server-side development experience.

Technical Skills:
Fidessa Product Suite: CASE, FBL, TOP (OMAR, TMAR, PMAC), PAIRS, NMS, FIX+, APAS, FDA.
FIX protocol.
Platforms: Windows 10/11, Linux.
Equities / Global Markets / Order Management and Post-Trade.
Scripting: TCL, Python, Unix shell scripting, PowerShell.
Databases: Sybase, MS SQL Server.
Distributed system design, messaging, and event processing.
Messaging frameworks: AMPS, IBM MQ, Tibco EMS.
Automated testing frameworks.
Agile SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
AI tooling.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of core Java development experience.
Hands-on FDA and Sybase experience.
FTW development experience is a strong plus.
