Senior Data Security Engineer

12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, data security, security engineering, cloud security, or a related field.
Hands-on experience implementing or operating DSPM/data security solutions.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview; Cyera experience is highly preferred.
Strong Python development and automation skills.
Experience with REST APIs, API integrations, event-driven architectures, queues, or streaming technologies.
Strong understanding of data discovery, data classification, data governance, data security, and risk management.
Experience securing structured and unstructured data environments.
Strong Azure/cloud security experience; Microsoft ecosystem experience is highly preferred.
Knowledge of IAM, least privilege, encryption, secrets management, logging, network security, and Zero Trust.
Experience with Linux, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, containers, and infrastructure automation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across cloud, applications, networks, identities, and data platforms.
Ability to create technical designs, documentation, operational procedures, metrics, and risk communications.
