We are currently seeking an experienced Millwork Superintendent to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural millwork, woodwork, casework, and commercial projects. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and coordinate all millwork activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and contracts to determine project requirements.
3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, and other team members to develop and implement project plans.
4. Supervise and guide millwork staff, providing training and feedback as needed to ensure optimal performance.
5. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
6. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle, implementing corrective actions as needed.
8. Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and final project closeout documents.
9. Foster a positive, collaborative, and safety-focused work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a millwork superintendent role or similar position.
2. Expertise in architectural millwork, woodwork, casework, and commercial projects.
3. Strong knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
4. Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
5. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
