Job description
What We're Looking For:
A successful Forward Deployed Engineer combines strong technical expertise with exceptional customer-facing experience, serving as the bridge between external stakeholders and engineering teams. The ideal candidate has partnered directly with clients to gather requirements, design technical solutions, manage expectations, and deliver software that solves real business problems. They are equally comfortable leading conversations with executives, business leaders, and technical teams, building trusted relationships while translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes. Rather than simply writing code, they take the time to understand a customer's business challenges, ask thoughtful questions, communicate technical tradeoffs, and move seamlessly between the boardroom and the codebase as both a trusted advisor and hands-on engineer.
What We Do:
AI & Data Engineering
You have experience building data-intensive applications using modern engineering tools and frameworks.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
Demonstrated experience working directly with external customers, clients, or business stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver software solutions.
Experience leading customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, architecture discussions, or implementation engagements.
Strong software engineering skills using Python and SQL.
Experience building cloud-native applications, APIs, data pipelines, or AI-enabled solutions.
Familiarity with modern AI technologies, including LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, or agentic workflows is highly desirable.
Ability to communicate effectively with both executive leadership and technical engineering teams.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
