E-Commerce Manager

Woodbridge, New Jersey | Full-Time, In-Office |Salary: $80,000-$120,000, based on experience

Growing home products company focused on developing, sourcing, and bringing innovative consumer products to market. Our categories include lighting, home decor, seasonal products, and related consumer goods. We are based in Woodbridge, New Jersey, with showroom offices in New York City, and we are building an increasingly important e-commerce business alongside our established retail business.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a hands-on E-Commerce Manager to own, operate, and grow our online business, with Amazon as a major focus along with our direct-to-consumer websites and additional e-commerce opportunities. This role is for someone who wants to build a business, not simply maintain listings. The right candidate will combine marketplace expertise, merchandising, advertising, analytics, inventory planning, and commercial judgment to drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Own the day-to-day management and growth of our Amazon business, including Seller Central.
• Manage product listings, catalog structure, titles, bullets, keywords, images, A+ content, SEO, variations, and overall content quality.
• Manage and optimize Amazon advertising/PPC, promotions, pricing, and other traffic and conversion
initiatives.
• Monitor account health, reviews, listing issues, suppressed listings, chargebacks, returns, and marketplace compliance.
• Plan FBA and e-commerce inventory needs, replenishment, forecasting, and stock levels in coordination with operations and production.
• Manage and grow our direct-to-consumer websites, including merchandising, product launches, promotions, content, and site performance.
• Analyze sales, traffic, conversion, advertising spend, fees, fulfillment costs, returns, promotions, and
product-level profitability.
• Develop regular reporting and clear KPIs for sales, margin, advertising efficiency, inventory, and channel
performance.
• Work closely with product, design, sales, operations, and management to launch products effectively online.
• Research competitors, pricing, trends, keywords, marketplace opportunities, and new e-commerce channels.
• Identify and test opportunities to expand the company's online presence beyond current channels.
• Use AI and modern digital tools for research, content development, competitive analysis, reporting, workflow improvement, and productivity.
• Take ownership of problems and opportunities and continually look for ways to improve both revenue and
profitability.

What Success Looks Like
Success in this position is not measured by sales alone. We are looking for someone who understands profitable growth and can balance revenue with advertising efficiency, marketplace fees, fulfillment costs, inventory, returns, promotions, and contribution margin. The E-Commerce Manager should be able to use data to make decisions and clearly explain what is working, what is not, and where the next growth opportunity exists.

Qualifications
• 3-5 years of relevant hands-on e-commerce experience.
• Strong Amazon marketplace experience; practical experience working in Amazon Seller Central is strongly required.
• Experience with Amazon advertising/PPC, listing optimization, SEO, catalog management, promotions, and marketplace analytics.
• Experience managing or supporting direct-to-consumer e-commerce websites.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand product-level economics and profitability.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with reporting, dashboards, and e-commerce data.
• Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is a plus.
• Comfort using AI, automation, and modern digital tools to improve performance and efficiency.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project-management skills.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and ownership-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and
cross-functionally.
• Experience with consumer products, home decor, lighting, seasonal products, or related categories is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; strong relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Compensation, Benefits & Growth
• Competitive salary of $80,000-$120,000, based on experience.
• Health insurance and company benefits.
• Paid time off (PTO).
• 401(k) program.
• Company-sponsored learning and professional development opportunities.
• Opportunity to build and shape a growing e-commerce business.
• Career growth potential as the channel expands, including the opportunity to take on broader leadership
responsibility.

Work Environment
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Woodbridge, New Jersey. We believe this role benefits from close collaboration with our product, design, operations, and management teams, particularly as new products are developed and launched across our e-commerce channels.
