Community Impact Coordinator at Samost Jewish Family and Children's Service of Southern New Jersey

Develop and coordinate programs linking elderly residents, especially those who are frail or disabled, to the supportive services they need to continue living independently. Responsibilities: • Provide information and referrals on local, state, and federal programs and resources • Interview and screen residents for program and entitlement eligibility, and assist with applications • Assess residents' physical, mental, social, and financial needs and develop service delivery plans • Establish links with agencies and service providers, including the county division on aging • Serve as residents' advocate and liaison, engaging family members as needed • Plan and implement monthly social, educational, and recreational programs • Develop volunteer programs and informal support networks Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, counseling, or a related field • Two years of supervisory experience in a related field Benefits: Generous PTO; medical, dental, and vision; 403(b); group term life insurance; FSA and HSA options; gym membership.
