New York Shuttle Drivers/Maintenance

Responsibilities

Maintains facility by sweeping hallways, stairs, and storage spaces, including restroom areas
Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk, mows lawn, trims shrubbery, and cultivates flowers
Maintains buildings, which includes performing minor and routine painting and other related maintenance activities
Notifies management concerning needs for major repairs
Maintains building accessibility
Works to maintain operational continuity between shifts
Safely transport customer belongings to and from specific locations in a timely manner
Properly maintain company vehicle with regular cleanings and maintenance
Ensure that the vehicle and the belongings inside are properly secured at all times
Report any accidents, injuries, and/or vehicle damage to management immediately
Regional travel to other facilities as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 2 + years custodial, maintenance, or grounds keeping experience
Valid driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience
Clean driving record as verified via MVR check
Excellent navigation skills including ability to effectively use navigation applications to find locations in order to manage travel time
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to apply common sense and logic to solve problems
Ability to make basic repairs using simple tools and equipment
Ability to work indoors and outdoors
