Aquatics - Lifeguard (Fall 2026)

Responsibilities
Greet all members to the facility and create a warm, welcoming family environment
Prioritize safety with a proactive, preventative lifeguarding approach
Enforce all aquatics facility policies, rules and regulations
Maintain a clean and safe environment including but not limited to pool, pool deck, restrooms, locker rooms, steam room, and surrounding areas
Wear proper uniform and be alert and ready to respond at all times
Perform other related job duties as required

Qualifications
Certified Lifeguard (Must hold valid American Red Cross Lifeguard certifications, or equivalent as recognized by the NYC-DOH)
CPR/AED certification, renewed within last 12 months
Ability to maintain a positive and energetic attitude and contribute to a positive team culture
Swim instructor experience or experience working directly with children in a camp or childcare setting is a plus
Weekend availability is a plus
